Amazing food! I was impressed by the fruit bowl and the blueberry cake! The inside looks like an old school diner.

I came here for breakfast and it was delicious. I got 2 eggs over-easy, buttered white toast, and turkey sausage with an apple juice. I immediately got seated at the bar and was greeted by the waitress who took my order shortly after. The place was packed and there was a long line outside (I can see why!) but the service was quick and the food was so good. I'd definitely come back to try other menu items.

If you're in Portland and looking for a classic, no-frills diner experience, Becky's is the place to go! The portions here are *huge*--seriously, you won't leave hungry. I love how reasonably priced everything is, too. It's one of those spots where you get a lot of bang for your buck. The food is solid diner fare, and they really nail the basics. Breakfast here is a standout. Service was friendly and efficient, which is always a plus when you're there for a hearty meal.

We went 2x to Becky's. Vibes were different depending on the time you go. Saturday mornings are SUPER busy and for lunch during the week is not too packed. Breakfast: I had the Egg's Benedict. It was really good. I enjoyed it. I didn't like the home fries. But over all love the plate. My husband just had French toast and sausages. Lunch: I had the lobster roll and the Strawberry Milk Shake. The roll was good and shake was fantastic. My hubby had a BLT and Maine Beer. Overall, we enjoyed each time and the food. We recommend this place if you are in Portland Maine.

There was a huge line of people waiting to get in, but I can confirm the wait was worth it. Very fast service when seated. Very friendly staff. A menu that covers breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the ability to order whole belly clams as an appetizer in 4oz or 7 oz sizes.

I loved my experience at Becky's Diner while we were in Portland, ME. I found this place initially on Yelp through the number of high reviews...and I'm very thankful for that. My husband and I ordered the following: + Blueberry pancake + Clam chowder + Lobster omelette + Corned beef breakfast Everything was delightful. I absolutely loved all my dishes and was left extremely full. The lobster omelette was a bit pricey, but when I got the dish, I understood why. It was full of lobster pieces tucked in an omelette and cheese. The omelette was about $34. The corned beef hash had tons of meat and was extra crispy which I loved too. Even during off season, there was a bit of a wait here. We waited about 20 minutes, which gave us time to fill up and get gas across the street as well. BONUS -- this place was visited by Guy Fieri for Diners, Drive-ins, and drives.

In Maine for the month, being able to try lots of different popular foods and one of the ones people recommended to try was Becky's diner. We went on a Sunday afternoon at around 12 with a lot of people waiting outside. We didn't realize at the time, but there is a small parking lot you can pay for as well as some nearby street parking although very limited. We were given a beeper and a wait time of ~45-50 minutes which was pretty accurate before we were seated. We ordered the large bowl of clam chowder along with their fisherman platter, which included their fried clams, fried shrimps, fried haddock, and fried scallops. For two, this was more than enough and still had a good chunk left over for another meal! For the clam chowder, a solid 8.5/10. A nice homey feel clam chowder with a ton of potatoes. For the fisherman platter, my personal favorite had to be the scallops. They tasted super fresh and sweet, and if I came back next time would be what I primarily try to get. The others were also fresh with a bit of brine to them, and all cooked to a nice golden brown color. A great 9/10. A great place which holds up to its hype, would def want to come again and try some of their other seafood.

Holy Lobster Becky! Look at that Benedict! It is so big! Like one of those epic breakfasts! I like big lobster and I cannot lie. Ok, all the 80's teenagers will definitely understand my start to this review. So the lobster benedict so so good. Eye cooked perfectly and loaded with lobster! Loaded! The hubs got the lobster omelette which was stuffed with juicy sweet lobster. Epic doesn't even begin to describe the food at this place. We were with another couple who had blueberry pancakes, huge portions very tasty. Now the turkey sausage, made in house, was too spicy for me but everyone else enjoyed it. Coffee was decent. Now the service: best server EVER! She was hilarious, attentive and fast. I would come back for her. This place is a must visit for breakfast!

Before jumping on the boat for a day of exploration on Peak Island, we stopped at Becky's to fuel. We were lucky to get a prime parking space in front(limited parking spaces) and waited about 1/2 hour to get breakfast. This very popular restaurant has great food- my feta, tomato, spinach and mushroom omelet was filling. Our waitress was busy handling 4 large parties on the upstairs patio but she succeeded keeping everyone's coffee cup full. Highly recommended- on the waterfront and pet friendly.
